Mission

The Invernizzi Award is an international award sponsored by Fondazione Romeo ed Enrica Invernizzi to support excellence in scientific research.

Awarded annually on a rotating basis across the disciplines of Agri-food Sciences, Economics and Medicine, the Award is dedicated to researchers under the age of 50 who have already achieved significant results and demonstrate high potential for further development.

Its aim is to foster the careers of scholars who can make a significant contribution to the advancement of knowledge and to tackle the major scientific challenges of our time.

Vision

The Invernizzi Award stems from the belief that scientific progress is one of the main drivers of development in society. This is why it fosters research based on merit, recognising scholars who stand out for their quality, originality and vision.

By supporting researchers and funding new scientific activities, the Award aims to foster the growth of research, encourage innovation and contribute to building a scientific community that is increasingly open, international and forward-looking.
